As we enter windows-down driving season, we’re certainly going to need new songs to add onto the soundtrack of those road trips; the kind of up-tempo tunes that beg to be sung aloud as the car makes its way down the road.
Enter Eddie Ray Arnold and his newest release, “Rock Your World.”
An infectious chorus and twanging Telecasters drive Arnold’s newest effort, which he says was inspired by an innocent moment at his children’s school dance.
“While at an elementary dance for my children, I watched a young boy gather up the courage to bypass the other boys just standing around staring at this girl and asking her to dance. Then he proceeded to put on a show,” Arnold says. “My mind quickly wrote the basics of the song, as I could only imagine the thoughts in his head and the conversation he was having with the girl beyond in their own little world.”
