Some voices are simply meant to sing together. Before they were a band, Eamon Owen, Conner Sweeny and Stanton Langley were singing harmonies on each others’ respective solo tracks. When the idea came to bring their voices together as Highway Home, they jumped at the opportunity.
Formed on shared influences of country music’s glory years, the trio quickly caught the eyes and ears of Warner Records, who inked the band to a deal. The resulting EP, No More Drinkin’ Songs, captures flawless three part harmonies and a classic sound that still feels incredibly relevant and fresh.
We chatted with Eamon, Conner and Stanton all about No More Drinkin’ Songs, developing their harmonies, growing as a band and more!

Pro Country: You all met on Music Row in Nashville and began singing harmonies on each others’ respective solo tracks. Can you talk about making the decision to form a trio and how quickly you gelled together?
Stanton: In a big way, it really felt like the decision was made for us; it felt like a God thing! We all had respect for each others’ solo music, but when we played together, the connection was just instant. Even outside of the music, we all share values and interests, and it’s been really great introducing each other to our respective passtimes. Our influences are all similar but different, and that adds to the creative fire!
PC: Who were some of the shared musical influences the band formed itself on?
Eamon: Well all grew up living the sounds of the 80s, 90s and early 2000s country! Groups such as Restless Heart, Diamond Rio, Rascal Flatts and Lonestar have been playlist favorites for us since our love for music began! The beauty of Highway Home is that we didn’t have to search for how we wanted our songs to sound. All of our influences mesh together perfectly, and we have been on the same page since the beginning!
PC: You released your first single as a group, “Broken As Mine,” last May. Why did you feel “Broken As Mine” was the right song with which to debut, and how encouraging was the response out of the gate?
Eamon: “Broken As Mine” was the first song that we ever wrote as a trio. It was a song that we instinctively put full harmonies on, and made it sound like our favorite songs growing up. We fell in love with the song right as we got finished writing it, and it was amazing to get such a great response after releasing it. That really gave us the affirmation that starting this trio was exactly what we were meant to do!
PC: Prior to the release of your single “No More Drinkin’ Songs,” it was announced that you signed with Warner Records. Can you talk about the courting and signing process with the label, and what it means to have their belief in your collective talent?
Eamon: We were very fresh into signing our management deal with Underscore Works. Charly Salvatore, our manager, had had a talk with us saying Aaron Bay-Schuck (CEO of Warner Records) was in town and wanted to sit down and chat. We met with him and Kelly Bolton during CMA Fest of 2025 and played them songs/told our story. At that moment, we didn’t have a ton going on, except some hype around us starting this new band, but luckily, the music spoke to them. They signed us on pure belief in our music, and also us as human beings. We truly feel that we have champions in our corner, and you can’t put a price on that.
PC: “No More Drinkin’ Songs,” the title track to your new EP, had several high-performing TikTok posts. As the lead single to your debut EP, how nice was it to see the song performing so well on social media?
Eamon: It is always a great feeling to not just see a video go, but understand that the song is truly connecting with people! As songwriters and artists, you put out songs that you believe in with the hope that your audience will also believe in that song. “No More Drinkin’ Songs” was a team favorite from the start, and being able to see it was turning into a fan favorite as well just put the biggest smile on all of our faces!
PC: In the spirit of “No More Drinkin’ Songs,” can you tell us a few of your favorite country music drinking songs?
Conner: The list is far and wide, but so many of our influences have a solid few drinking songs that will always be great in our book. “Party Crowd” by David Lee Murphy, “Red Solo Cup” by Toby Keith, “Tequila Talkin” by Lonestar, “All My Rowdy Friends are Coming Over Tonight” from ole Bocephus, “D-R-U-N-k” by DAC, and a classic in “Fifteen Beers” by Johnny Paycheck!
PC: Each of the three songs released prior to No More Drinkin’ Songs was accompanied by a music video. How much fun has it been bringing the songs to life with those videos?
Stanton: We always have a blast doing the videos, because there’s rarely a serious moment on set! It’s purely a fun and creative time, and it puts faces to the name for viewers. We’re still in that building phase, trying to connect people to the music through ourselves and vice versa.
PC: “Prettiest You I’ve Ever Seen” is one of our favorite songs on the EP, and is a song you all wrote with Corey Crowder. Can you take us in the room and talk about how the song came together?
Conner: This song was born when I was on my tractor in the back of the property. A melody started running through my head, and words quickly followed! I pulled into a shady spot under my favorite tree and quickly wrote down everything I was thinking and recorded a voice note of the meolody on my phone. I brought this half baked chorus idea to the boys and Corey at his lake cabin one summer day, and the song just about fell out. Corey’s thoughts and ideas are always incredible, but this time, he really showed his talent for bringing new life to a song, while also preserving the original ideas and melodies that were brought to him. It was such a fun time to all get fired up writing in the style of some of our 80s/90s heroes. The song happened fast, and we had an absolute blast recording the demo, composing the song in a way that was reminiscent, but fresh. That excitement was compounded when we showed up to the studio to record it!
PC: What do you hope listeners take away from No More Drinkin’ Songs after listening all the way through?
Stanton: We hope people hear something a little different from what’s normal right now, but relate to the songs the same way we do. For us, we hope they feel our passion for making a project that’s authentic, and know that we put in 110% to perform at a higher level than we thought we could.
PC: In just a year’s time, you went from playing to 15 people to performing at CMA Fest and landing several great opening slots. What has it been like to see the band’s growth on the road, and how much have you enjoyed being able to tangibly see the growth?
Conner: It’s truly so humbling. God has gone before us and led our path. Our entire team has worked so hard to give us a chance in this industry, and we are just trying to not take this shot we have for granted! So much has led to our growth and development. Touring fall of 2025 with our buddy Graham Barham was a huge factor in our comfortability on stage and eagerness to tour hard. Our first music video on CMT, our first time playing for more than 1,000, 2,000, 4,000 people! There is so much tangible growth, we are so encouraged, but also so aware that humility and continuing to show up is the only way to keep moving forward!
PC: As a band with three lead singers, can you take us into how you develop your harmonies around the lead vocal and how much work has gone into perfecting it?
Stanton: It started really naturally for us. Our first show was unrehearsed, but the way our voices sound individually made it clear on who should sing what parts. As we wrote more and started recording, the real fun came with arranging parts that weren’t just the obvious “1, 3, 5” harmonies in a chorus. Maybe there’s countermelodies in a verse, or an unexpected high part that wouldn’t normally be in the script. That’s where we really have fun in the process. We usually spend days in the studio just focused on that!
PC: With No More Drinkin’ Songs now released, what do you have planned for the rest of 2026 and going into 2027?
Conner: Now that the EP is finally out, we are excited to stay hot on the road and bring these songs to the fans live! Going into 2027, we are going to continue writing great songs to the best of our abilities, keep showing up and earning our place in the country space, and finally, continue to grow as a band and as individuals!
