Known for his emotional, heart wrenching and true to life songs, the new single from Matt Kennon, “Love is Stronger,” is a moving story of loss, faith and redemption. A thread that runs through the new music is definitely love, and its awe-inducing power to lift us up, stir our souls, or crush us in its wake when it goes. It’s a subject Kennon is intimately familiar with, and the material is well-suited for the hard-working artist, who is coming into his own creatively and hitting his stride. Written by Mike Mobley and produced by multiple Grammy winner, Paul Worley, “Love is Stronger” is available now on all digital platforms.
“I have always wanted to be known for recording the kind of music that heals, changes, and saves lives,” says Kennon. “‘Love is Stronger’ is a true story to many, and I could not be more excited to share this song with the world.”
The Atlanta native’s impressive career accomplishments include 300,000 singles and 30,000 albums sold, with more than 17 million video views for his memorable Top 40 hit, “The Call.” For the past two years Kennon has spearheaded a national anti-bullying campaign, reaching more than 150,000 students in seven states, and partnering with Univ. of Alabama head football coach NIck Saban’s foundation, Nick’s Kids.
Kennon recently completed the filming of a gripping music video for “Love is Stronger,” directed by Mike Stryker of Casting LIfe Films. Look for that video, and a lyric video, both coming soon.
