Derek Lersch Showcases a “Good ‘Ol Florida Party” on New Music Video, “My Baby’s Summertime” [Premiere]

Every now and then, we could all use an escape from reality and the heaviness that encompasses life these days. Some find that escape in a long drive, some find it in reminiscing on the past, while others find it in a song. With his music video for his newest single, “My Baby’s Summertime,” Massachusetts native Derek Lersch is offering a good-timing tune and video sure to transport its listeners into the party it presents, and Pro Country is honored to premiere the video!

Lersch’s timely new single marries 90s country and rocking sounds to produce a sing-a-long, windows down summer jam tailor made for summer parties and road trips of any variety.

The video, which features scenes on a boat, a hot tub and a backyard party equipped with fireworks, will almost certainly have viewers on the line with friends and family to set up their next party of the sorts.

Of the new video, which he calls a “good ol’ Florida party,” Lersch says, ““We had such a great time making this video and that was the goal! This is a fun song and we just had a party making it. I think it captured the feel of the song perfectly: summertime fun!”

“My Baby’s Summertime” comes ahead of Lersch’s forthcoming debut EP, due out later this fall! You can check out the premiere of the new video below!
